Disclosure

The market Firmenza competes in has a long history of companies that dress themselves up as part of the government. Federal rules on impersonation reach implied affiliation as well as explicit claims — a seal, a .gov-ish domain, a letter that reads like a notice from an agency. So we put the plain sentence above the fold on every page, on every report, in every email, and on the preview card that appears when a report link is shared.

It is set in ordinary readable type, not gray small print in a footer, because hiding it is the same thing as not saying it.

• Not part of the U.S. government, GSA, or SAM.gov, and not endorsed by any of them.
• Not a law firm, and not a source of legal advice.
• Not a way to have someone else log in for you. You log in to SAM.gov yourself, every time. We never ask for your login.gov credentials.
• Not someone who certifies for you. You make every certification yourself, and we never answer or pre-select one.

You can register, renew, and search on sam.gov yourself at no cost — entity registration has no fee, and it never has. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something. Firmenza's health check and copilot are free too. Firmenza Full Service is paid: your Firmenza specialist enters your registration in SAM.gov, by hand, and you make every certification yourself. Its prices are on the pricing page.

We never manufacture urgency. An expiration is a date, shown on a timeline with the number of days beside it — not a countdown clock, not a "notice", not a deadline invented to make you act. We do not send unsolicited "your registration is at risk" mail to businesses whose contact details appear on public records.
