Refund policy
Our payment and refund terms, in one place. They are part of our Terms.
Contracting entity: Cohortworks LLC, a Missouri limited liability company, doing business as Firmenza, 2437 S April Ave, Springfield, MO 65807 · Last updated October 22, 2026 · Questions: legal@firmenza.com
1. Before we start work
For a new registration, a renewal or a UEI only order, you pay for our work only when everything is ready and we can start. On a registration or a renewal, we start nothing in SAM.gov before you pay. Full refund at any time before we start work on your order. We start work on an order when we begin your registration or renewal in SAM.gov.
2. After we start
After that, a refund is decided case by case, and a correction is free if SAM.gov returns it because of our mistake.
3. What SAM.gov decides
SAM.gov charges nothing to register an entity or to renew it, so there is no government fee in what you pay us. SAM.gov decides whether and when a registration becomes active, as “No promise of an outcome or a date” in our Terms says.
4. Care
A new registration includes its first year of Care; after that, Care renews at its yearly price until you cancel, with an email 30 days before each yearly charge. A Care year's charge is refunded in full at any time before we start work on the renewal it covers. You can cancel Care at any time in the billing portal.
5. Pro
Pro starts with a 14-day trial with no card. Nothing is charged unless you choose Keep Pro; then it renews each month or each year until you cancel in the billing portal, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for. An account's first Full Service order (a new registration, UEI only or a renewal) also gives it a month of Pro, 30 days from when you send that order, with no card and on the same terms; later orders do not. When that order is done (SAM.gov shows the registration active, or issues your Unique Entity ID), an account with fewer than 14 days of Pro left has Pro until 14 days after that. Neither ever shortens a trial that ends later, and an account already paying for Pro gets neither.
6. The launch offer
Launch offer: one Full Service order per account (a new registration, UEI only or a renewal), sent on or before November 30, 2026, is free: the account's first such order that was not already paid, or being paid, when this offer began. A renewal that Care started, or that a Care or Pro plan of the account already covers, is not part of this offer. If the free order is closed before we start work on it, the offer passes to the account's oldest order at the launch price that is open, not paid or being paid, and sent by November 30, 2026, or, if there is none, to the next one the account sends by then. A free order does not include a year of Care. Every other such order sent on or before December 31, 2026 is at the launch price the pricing page shows through that day, whenever it is paid, except an order already paid, or being paid, when this offer began, which keeps the price it is paid at. A renewal's launch price is Care's price for its first year; after that, Care renews at its yearly price until you cancel. If you start paying for such a renewal on or before November 30, 2026, its first year is not charged until December 1, 2026, or two days after you start, if that is later, and if you cancel Care before then, you pay nothing. A new registration paid at its launch price still includes its first year of Care, after which Care renews at its yearly price. Orders sent from January 1, 2027 are at the listed prices. These dates are in US Eastern time. Every account made on or before November 30, 2026 has Pro's trial with nothing to start, until the latest of December 1, 2026, 14 days after Pro opened, and 14 days after the account was made.
7. An order that waits on you
If an order waits on you for a long time and we close it after telling you, as “Orders that wait on you” in our Terms says, any refund follows this policy.
8. How to ask for a refund
To ask for a refund, write to legal@firmenza.com from the email address on your account, and tell us which order it is for.
A refund goes back the way you paid. When it shows on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
9. Questions about a charge
If you have a question about a charge, write to us first at legal@firmenza.com and tell us which order or plan it is for. Asking us first does not give up any right you have with your bank or card issuer.
