How it works
Everything Firmenza does, from your SAM.gov registration to your first bid, and how we work with you.
How we work with you
Our prices, and when you get a refund, are on the pricing page. See pricing
No fee when you win a contract, and never more than a year paid ahead.
We use your registration's real expiration date, never a made-up deadline.
What your AI employee does
Your registration
- Asks you SAM.gov's questions one at a time, and says what each one is for.
- Checks the format of each answer.
- On a renewal, notes where an answer differs from your public record.
- Reads the documents you upload and proposes answers. You confirm each one.
- Puts your answers into a worksheet, in SAM.gov's order.
Everything here but reading a filing or certificate you upload runs on fixed rules and contains no AI-generated text. From a state filing or a certificate of good standing, the AI assistant may read the business's name and address; an ID or a contact card is read by Firmenza's own code.
Watching your registration
- Every day, re-reads the public SAM.gov record of the registrations you watch, the closest to their expiration date first and as many as SAM.gov's daily limit allows.
- Emails you reminders with the real date, by default from 75 days before the expiration date, on the days you choose.
- Near the expiration date, shows what to have ready for your renewal, beside what your public record said.
Show 4 moreShow fewer
- Tells you when a read finds a change: the status, the expiration date, or details such as the legal name, the address or the CAGE code.
- After a renewal, your watch list shows the new expiration date once the public record does.
- Up to three more people can get a registration's reminders, each once they confirm by email.
- “What buyers see on your public record” lists what the record showed on our last read.
The watch runs on fixed rules and contains no AI-generated text.
Finding contract opportunities and grants
- A requirements checklist on a notice you save: Firmenza gets its solicitation from SAM.gov, or you upload it, and Firmenza's rules list what it asks for, with the page of each. You track each one, and print the list or download it.
- Daily matches with SAM.gov's contract opportunities, by NAICS code, state and keyword, each saying why it matched.
- In your inbox, the AI assistant prepares the work; you review and approve it, edit it or reject it, one request at a time. Tasks have due dates, and a weekly count shows what the AI assistant did.
- Proposal drafts, and drafts of responses to Sources Sought and Request for Information notices, written by the AI assistant only from facts you confirmed, with the source of every sentence shown. You review and edit every draft.
- “Explain this notice”, a plain summary from the AI assistant, drawn from the notice's published fields and marking what it does not state.
- “Found by AI”: each night the AI assistant reads new contract notices, and new grant and New York City notices if you turned those on, against your profile, and shows why each one may be about your work, in quotes from both.
Show 15 moreShow fewer
- The AI assistant also reads a solicitation's requirements, with each quote checked on its page, and sets out its Section L and M in a table.
- Bid readiness on each notice: “Worth a look”, “Look closer” or “Probably skip”, with each reason shown. It reads the notice's published facts beside your profile, and whether to respond is yours to decide.
- “Who did this work before” and past award amounts on a notice, as public history from USAspending.gov, not a price to bid.
- In the market view, the contractors behind the most recent awards in your codes, largest total first, from USAspending.gov.
- Your own record of a response you sent and its result, kept on your account.
- Grant matches from Grants.gov, with keywords of their own, once you turn them on.
- New York City bid notices, matched by keyword, once you turn them on.
- The market view: who buys what you sell, from past contract awards in your codes.
- Keywords to leave out keep the notices you don't want out of your matches.
- Saved notices keep a private note and tell you what changed, such as a moved response date.
- A digest email of new matches and changes, once a day or once a week, with the response dates due in the next week.
- Saved searches on your list of matches, each with an alert in the digest when a new match fits it.
- “Before you respond”, a short checklist on each notice still open to a response, including whether your registration is active through its response date and whether your public record lists its NAICS code.
- On a notice's page, the link the agency added to it, when GSA's file has one.
- Also in the market view: contracts in your codes that end within the next year.
The inbox and tasks are open to every account. The AI's work in the inbox and the rest of this list come with Pro's contract and grant matches, digest and market view, with a 14-day trial.
The lines that name the AI assistant, such as “Explain this notice” and “Found by AI”, use it. Everything else here runs on fixed rules and contains no AI-generated text. These are tools to help you find and pursue contracts, and the decision to bid is always yours.
Ask Firmenza
- On Firmenza's pages, the AI assistant answers questions about Firmenza, SAM.gov and your registration, in English or Spanish.
- It answers from Firmenza's own guides, with links to read more.
- Signed in, it can also tell you the public status and expiration date of the registrations you watch.
- On size, affiliation, ownership, exclusions or lobbying, it explains the words and refers you to a free counselor or an attorney.
Show 3 moreShow fewer
- In the copilot, it answers about the section you are on, and can follow on from your last two questions there.
- On a notice's page and on your list of matches, it answers your questions about them, such as what a notice asks for or which are due this week.
- Signed in, you can choose how it words its answers to you, such as shorter answers or numbered steps.
Wherever it talks, its words carry the “AI assistant” label.
