Terms
Firmenza is self-help software you direct. These terms say what that means, and what it does not.
[Draft — counsel review pending] This page describes how Firmenza intends to operate. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet a binding agreement.
Contracting entity: Cohortworks LLC, a Missouri limited liability company, doing business as Firmenza, 2437 S April Ave, Springfield, MO 65807 · Draft as of October 2026 · Questions: legal@firmenza.com
Firmenza is not a law firm
Firmenza does not give legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. We explain what a form asks in plain language. We do not tell you what your answer should be.
Questions about size status, affiliation, ownership, debarment, or lobbying are outside what software can answer for a specific business. For those, talk to an attorney or a free APEX Accelerator, SBDC, or SCORE counselor.
Firmenza is not the government
Firmenza is a private company, not affiliated with the U.S. government, GSA, or SAM.gov, and not endorsed by any of them. Registration in SAM.gov is free at sam.gov, and you never need Firmenza to register, renew, or search. See the disclosure page.
You log in, you answer, you submit
You log in to SAM.gov yourself. We never ask for your login.gov credentials and never sign in on your behalf — automated access to login.gov is prohibited by its Rules of Use.
We never answer a representation or certification for you, and we never pre-select one. Federal certifications are statements you make to the United States Government under penalty of law (18 U.S.C. § 1001). You read them, you answer them, you submit them.
Accuracy of the data, and of your filing
The health check reports what the public tier of SAM.gov's Entity Management API returned at the time it ran. SAM.gov is the authoritative source; our report is a reading of it, and records change. Nothing in a report is a determination about your business.
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you file. Check any value we give you against your own records before you use it anywhere.
Acceptable use
Use the check for entities you have a legitimate reason to look up. Do not use Firmenza to scrape SAM.gov in bulk, to build a marketing list from the contacts on public records, or to send unsolicited commercial mail to the people named on them.
What it costs
The health check, watch reminders, the copilot and a review by a member of the Firmenza team are free. A Firmenza specialist's work is paid, at the prices on the pricing page; the price is shown again on the “Send it to Firmenza” card, in the email asking for payment, and on Stripe's payment page before you pay. Registration and renewal in SAM.gov are free at sam.gov.
For a new registration, a renewal or a UEI only order, you pay for a specialist's work only when everything is ready: your answers are complete and, for a registration or a renewal, your specialist has access to your entity on SAM.gov. On a registration or a renewal, your specialist enters nothing in SAM.gov before you pay. Full refund at any time before your specialist starts work on your order. After that, a refund is decided case by case, and a correction is free if SAM.gov returns it because of our mistake. A new registration includes its first year of Care; after that, Care renews at its yearly price until you cancel, with an email 30 days before each yearly charge. A Care year's charge is refunded in full at any time before your specialist starts work on the renewal it covers. You can cancel Care at any time in the billing portal.
Launch offer: one Full Service order for a new registration or UEI only per account, sent on or before October 31, 2026, is free: the account's first such order that was not already paid, or being paid, when this offer began. If the free order is closed before your specialist starts work on it, the offer passes to the account's oldest such order at the launch price that is open, not paid or being paid, and sent by October 31, 2026, or, if there is none, to the next one the account sends by then. A free new registration does not include the first year of Care. Every other such order sent on or before November 30, 2026 is at the launch price the pricing page shows through that day, whenever it is paid, except an order already paid, or being paid, when this offer began, which keeps the price it is paid at. Orders sent from December 1, 2026 are at the listed prices. These dates are in US Eastern time. The offer does not change Pro's trial.
Pro starts with a 14-day trial with no card. Nothing is charged unless you choose Keep Pro; then it renews each month or each year until you cancel in the billing portal, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for.
[TBD - counsel] Counsel reviews these payment terms before Firmenza takes a live payment.
Liability
[TBD - counsel] The intended pattern: Firmenza's total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and the software is provided without warranties beyond those the law does not let us disclaim. The exact wording is counsel's to write.
Nothing in these terms limits, waives, or reduces any obligation you owe to the United States, or any right the United States has against you. No agreement with us can do that, and none of these terms should be read as trying.
Changes and contact
These terms are a draft and will change before anything is charged. Questions go to legal@firmenza.com.
