FirmenzaFirmenza
AI assistant — not a lawyer, not the governmentFirmenza's assistant is software. It explains what a section asks and checks the format of what you type. It does not give legal advice, it is not part of the government, and it enters nothing in SAM.gov. You make every certification yourself.

Check your public SAM.gov record

Use the legal name or the 12-character UEI.

What the status words mean

  • Active — The registration is current. While it stays that way, the entity can receive federal awards under it.
  • Inactive — The registration is no longer current, usually after it expired. The entity keeps its UEI; you renew the registration yourself on sam.gov.
  • Expired — The public record's expiration date has passed. Firmenza uses this word for a lapsed registration; SAM.gov's Workspace may show the same fact as Inactive Registration.
  • Not found or opted out of public display — No public record matched the search, or the entity kept its record out of public search. That is not proof the business has no registration.

Just submitted? A public check may not show a brand-new submission yet. Follow your own submission on SAM.gov's status tracker (you will need to sign in).
