AI assistant — not a lawyer, not the governmentFirmenza's assistant is software. It explains what a section asks and checks the format of what you type. It does not give legal advice, it is not part of the government, and it enters nothing in SAM.gov. You make every certification yourself.

Find a NAICS or PSC code

Search the 2022 NAICS codes and the product and service codes (PSC) by words or by number. No account needed.

Where the codes come from

NAICS codes come from the U.S. Census Bureau's North American Industry Classification System, 2022 edition. Each six-digit code names an industry, and its first four digits name the industry group it belongs to.

PSC codes come from GSA's Product and Service Codes Manual. Each one names a product or a service the government buys.

Titles are shown in English, exactly as they are published.

What SAM.gov asks for

SAM.gov asks for a primary NAICS code when you register, and you can list more codes for the other work you would bid on.

Choose the codes that describe what you sell; an APEX Accelerator can help you decide.

Codes and size standards

The Small Business Administration attaches a size standard to each NAICS code, so whether a business counts as small is decided code by code. This page does not choose a code for you and does not say whether your business counts as small.
