Found by AI: how the AI assistant finds notices about your work
How Found by AI reads each night's new notices against your own words, and how to get picks that fit your work.

What is Found by AI?
Your matches come from fixed rules: the NAICS codes, states and keywords in your profile. That catches a lot, but an agency does not always describe the work in your words or under your code. Found by AI is a second list beside your matches that reads the notices the way a person would.
Each night the AI assistant reads the new contract notices on SAM.gov's public list against your profile and the words in your capability statement, and picks the ones that may be about your work. If you turned them on, it reads new grant opportunities from Grants.gov and New York City bid notices the same way. You open the list the next morning, with no searching.
How does it show why it picked a notice?
Each pick shows the work in the notice's own words, and up to three reasons. A reason is two quotes side by side: "The notice says" and "Your profile says". So you see at a glance why a notice is on your list, and you can tell in seconds whether it is worth opening.
Before a pick is shown, Firmenza checks that each quote is really in the notice and really in your profile. A reason whose quote is not found is dropped, and a pick left with no reason is not shown. Every card carries the "AI assistant" label, and the decision to respond is yours.
How do you get picks that fit your work?
The AI assistant reads only what you wrote, so the words you give it matter most. In your capability statement, describe the work you do in plain words: the services, the equipment, the kinds of jobs and the customers you serve. Add your NAICS and PSC codes and your past performance. A few clear sentences give it more to read than a list of buzzwords.
When a pick is not about your work, press "Not relevant". It leaves the list, and the AI assistant takes it into account on its next read. When one is, press "Save". It goes on your Saved list, where you keep a private note, get a reminder email before its response date and start its requirements checklist.
Where else do the picks show up?
Your digest email has a "Found by AI" section with up to five new picks, so you can skim them from your inbox. On a notice's own page, the same reasons appear under "Why the AI assistant picked it". And when you ask the AI assistant about your matches, such as which are due soonest, it reads its picks too.
Found by AI is part of Pro and its trial. The pricing page says what Pro includes.
